Job summary

Dao Kee Construction Company Limited invites applications for an Assistant Project Manager to support construction management on various HKHA maintenance projects.

The role requires a holder of at least an Ordinary Certificate in Building Studies or equivalent, with 1+ year post-qualification experience, plus strong coordination, site checks, materials purchasing, quality and safety control, and bilingual English/Chinese communication.

Qualifications

• At least Ordinary Certificate in Building Studies or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in building maintenance.
• Completed Safety Training Course for Site Management Staff or equivalent.
• Willing to work full-time for 6 days per week (except Public Holidays).
• Experience in HKHA maintenance projects highly preferred.
• Proficient in English and Chinese, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction management, coordinating works and site checks.
• Oversee materials purchasing and quality control.
• Ensure safety compliance and reporting.
• Support project planning and scheduling activities.
• Liaise with stakeholders and manage on-site communications.

Job description

Holder of Ordinary Certificate or above in Building Studies or equivalent, with minimum 1 year's post-qualification experience in building maintenance aspects.

Completed the Safety Training Course for Site Management Staff provided by CIC/HKIC/OSHC; upon completion of the above course for 5 years or above, subsequently completed the Safety Training Refresher Course for Site Management Staff or alike provided by CIC/OSHC or equivalent training provided by other organizations.

Completed the Safety and Health Supervisor (Construction) Course or alike provided by OSHC/CIC/ HKIC; upon completion of the above course for 4 years or above, subsequently completed the Enhancement Course for Construction Safety Supervisors or alike provided by CIC/ OSHC or equivalent training provided by other organizations.

Attendance at the “Maintenance is Service” Training Course – Module for Contractor’s Staff organized by CIC/ HKIC will be considered an advantage.

Willing to work full-time for 6 days per week (except Public Holidays)

Previous experience in HKHA maintenance projects is highly preferred.

Able to perform the duties of construction management, including coordination of works, site checks, materials purchase, quality control, safety compliance checks, and other duties as assigned.

Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.

Highly self-motivated and independent, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
