Job summary

Kowloon Development Company Limited, part of the Polytec Group, is expanding its Hong Kong team to lead major residential development projects. The Construction Manager will plan, oversee and coordinate site works, ensuring on-time delivery, safety and contract compliance.

You will manage subcontractors, liaise with government authorities and consultants, and mentor a small project team. Senior level with HK experience and AS status is preferred; leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years or above post-qualification experience in building/civil construction, with at least 2 years in management level.
• Post Membership in HKIE/MICE/MCIOB is preferred.
• Qualified Authorized Signatory (AS) is a must.
• Experience handling site condition changes and timely issue resolution.
• Solid knowledge of costing, contracts, regulations and building/construction operations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall planning and execution of construction works for comprehensive development projects in Hong Kong.
• Monitor and oversee progress to ensure on-schedule completion and good order.
• Plan site works with sub-contractors, monitor performance and ensure contract compliance.
• Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and sub-contractors to ensure quality work while meeting safety requirements.
