Job summary

The Legislative Council Secretariat invites applications for an Assistant Information Technology Officer in its Information Technology Office. The role focuses on AI/IT security research, project development, and support for AI-powered solutions.

The successful candidate will work on AI/LLMs, NLP, RAG, APIs, and integration, while ensuring high security and compliance standards. A diploma or above with strong English/Chinese is required, with at least five years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Recognized diploma or above in IT/AI related field.
• HKDSE English and Chinese Level 2+ (or equivalent).
• At least five years of AI/IT security related work experience.
• Proficiency in AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and programming (Python).
• Knowledge of web apps, APIs, cloud tech, security risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Assist team leaders in AI/IT security research, product analysis and evaluation.
• Provide technical support for IT systems and AI-powered solutions.
• Lead IT security monitoring, system analysis, and project deployment.
• Assist in funding proposals, cost-benefit analysis and budgeting.
• Support AI chatbot agents, LLMs, NLP, RAG and secure AI development.
