Job summary

The Legislative Council Secretariat invites applications for an Information Technology Officer to join the Information Technology Office. The role covers AI research, cybersecurity, system integration, and project delivery, reporting to the Administration Division under the Secretariat.

Candidates should have a strong background in AI, cybersecurity, and IT systems, with at least six years of hands-on experience, excellent bilingual communication, and the ability to lead junior staff while

Qualifications

• Recognised university degree in a related field (electronic engineering / CS / IT / AI engineering / data science / cybersecurity).
• At least six years of hands-on experience across AI-related, cybersecurity-related or IT systems.
• Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks, programming languages (Python), and security standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct AI and cybersecurity research, product analysis, and project development.
• Provide daily IT operations support for IT systems, cybersecurity tools, and AI-powered solutions.
• Lead AI and cybersecurity projects from design to deployment, including tender prep and budgeting.
