Job summary

HTK is seeking a Senior Accountant to build financial models, develop business cases and analyze profitability to support Capex/Opex investments.

You will lead the budgeting and forecasting process for revenue, expenses and capital expenditures, monitor performance and provide actionable insights to senior management. Fluency in English and Chinese is required, with strong Excel and Oracle/Hyperion experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
• 8+ years of related experience; e-Commerce/retail/loyalty rewards experience preferred.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, independent, with strong business acumen.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Oracle/Hyperion experience is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Build financial models and business cases to justify Capex/Opex investments.

Your role:

• Build financial models and operational matrix, business case and profitability analysis to justify Capex/ Opex investment and facilitate funding approval.
• Develop and manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures.
• Analyze financial and operational data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management, including identifying trends, risk and opportunities
• Monitor business performance and support Business Unit to drive business performance, strategic initiatives and meet annual targets.
• Manage financial accounting activities, including month-end closing, journal posting, internal recharging and monthly reporting
• Comply with appropriate business processes and accounting best practices to maintain and strengthen controls

To success in this role:

• Qualified Accountant with Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
• 8+ years related experience; e-Commerce/ retail/ loyalty reward program experience preferred but not a must
• Analytical, detail-oriented, independent, committed, with good business acumen
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate financial information into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Oracle/ Hyperion/AI experience is a plus
• Fluency in English and Chinese

Less working experience may also be considered as Senior Accountant.
