Job summary

HTK seeks a qualified Accountant to join our Group Finance accounting team. The role involves month-end closing, management reports, forecasting and annual operating plan, as well as audit and tax return filings.

You will also support Capex reviews and other ad hoc financial projects, liaise with external auditors, and collaborate with multiple departments. Strong English and Chinese communication, plus MS Office and Oracle experience, are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline with professional accounting body qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficient in English and Chinese, both spoken and written.
• MS Office proficiency; Oracle experience is a plus.

Your new role

The successful candidate will work in our accounting team in Group Finance. S/he will be responsible for providing accounting support to business units on month-end closing, management reports preparation and analysis, forecasting, annual operating plan as well as audit and tax return filing.

S/he will also support Capex and investment cases review and ad hoc financial projects. S/he will work with colleagues from different departments and liaise with external auditors.

To succeed in this role

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or other related discipline with qualification in professional accounting body
• At least 5 years' relevant working experience
• Good organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Independence and ability to work under pressure and tight deadline
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Full familiarity with Microsoft Office applications is necessary
• Prior experience in Oracle accounting system will be an advantage
