Job summary

Grown Alchemist Asia-Pacific Limited is seeking an Assistant Accountant in Hong Kong on a part-time basis. You will report to the Finance Manager and handle daily accounting tasks, including general ledger maintenance and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities include accounts payable/receivable, monthly financial reporting, and basic admin filing for the finance team. Proficiency in Excel and ERP MS Dynamics is advantageous; bilingual English/Chinese is preferred.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and accurate in handling accounting tasks.
• Fluent in English and Chinese, both spoken and written.

Job description

We are seeking potential candidates who are detail-oriented, accurate, responsible, independent, proactive, and interested in joining our team.

Report to the Finance Manager, the AssistantAccountant position is responsible for processing all accounting transactions and daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting duties including general ledger maintenance, balance sheet schedules, sales reconciliation, bank reconciliations and verify expense claims
• Handle daily accounts payable and receivable
• Support monthly financial reporting
• Assist with basic administrative duties and document filing for finance department
• Assist in ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

• F.5 / DSE or above preferably in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
• Minimum 1 year of related experience, preferably in wholesale or retail industry
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and other Office applications; experience in using ERP MS Dynamics systems is an advantage
• Good command of both spoken and written English & Chinese
• Part-time position, preferably available for 2-3 weekdays per week; working hours are negotiable
• Self-motivated, independent, well-organized and detail-minded
• Immediately available is highly preferable
