Job summary

Ambition in Hong Kong seeks a seasoned Fund Operations professional to manage day-to-day operations, KYC onboarding, and account setup with local and overseas custodians. You will review investment performance and NAV, track cash settlements, and prepare management information packs for senior management.

Also responsible for trust/trade reconciliations, cross-functional coordination with custodians, trustees, fund administrators, IT and legal advisors, and supporting product reporting and UAT

Qualifications

• University degree or above.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in asset management; seniority possible for a higher role.
• Sound knowledge of equity and fixed income products.
• Familiarity with QFII will be a plus.
• Advanced skills and hands-on experience in Excel.
• Energetic, proactive, self-driven, detail-minded, ready for extra duties.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Mandarin, English and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day fund operations and client KYC, including onboarding support, delivery of risk disclosures, document checking, and setting up/maintaining accounts with both local and overseas custodians.
• Review and track the investment performance and NAV of appointed external fund managers.
• Follow up on cash transaction settlements and perform regular cash position reconciliations.
• Compile management information packs, such as portfolio performance analyses and key control dashboards, for senior management and head office on request.
• Carry out trust and trade reconciliations and ensure SPC records are accurate and updated.
• Foster effective working relationships with internal teams and external parties, including custodians, trustees, fund administrators, IT providers and legal advisors.
• Assist the product team by preparing and finalizing various reporting and presentation materials.
• Join user acceptance testing for new or enhanced systems before go-live.
• Contribute to the rollout of new fund launches, operational improvement initiatives and other ad hoc assignments.
