Job summary

Hong Kong Arts Development Council invites a capable officer to contribute to grant scheme reviews, research, planning and implementation.

You will oversee programme delivery, manage budgets and prepare reports ensuring effective execution of HKADC’s work, while maintaining communications with arts practitioners and organisations.

This role includes secretarial support to committees and team leadership through grants administration.

Qualifications

  • University degree with at least 5 years of relevant full-time working experience in arts administration or grant scheme administration.
  • Strong administrative, analytical, numerical and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua is a plus.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, detail-oriented and well-organised.
  • Professional and tactful manner in communicating with different stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Assist supervisors in grant scheme review, including research, planning and implementation work.
  • Oversee project implementation, manage programme plans and budgets, and prepare periodical reports.
  • Maintain effective communication with arts practitioners and organisations, and provide assistance and advice.
  • Provide secretarial support to committees and working groups, including preparing agenda, papers, briefing materials and minutes.
  • Manage and supervise a team for grants administration and project management.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by supervisors.
