Job summary

Arup seeks a Talent Acquisition Lead for APAC to drive sourcing operations, analytics and strategy in partnership with regional leaders. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, ensuring service excellence to business partners and People teams.

You will mentor TA Specialists and Coordinators, track KPIs, champion DEI, and push process improvements while aligning with Arup’s broader Talent Acquisition agenda across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience within Human Resources, with strong capability in Talent Acquisition, HR/People Operations, Project Management, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience leading change and successfully implementing new processes across an organisation
• Ability to consolidate and analyse data from multiple platforms to generate meaningful insights
• A relationship builder who acts as a trusted partner by understanding needs and delivering value added solutions
• Ability to influence and inspire through subject matter expertise and compelling communication, driving positive and sustainable change
• Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English is required. Candidates must also be able to read and write both Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Leading, mentoring, and supporting the growth and development of TA Specialists and Coordinators across APAC region.
• Monitoring team performance and capacity, providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and development, including delivery of annual performance appraisals
• Providing and tracking sourcing metrics, KPIs, and TA insights to demonstrate recruitment effectiveness and inform decision making
• Championing diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the talent acquisition lifecycle, helping to attract and engage candidates from a wide range of backgrounds
• Staying ahead of market trends, competitor activity, and industry best practices in talent sourcing and acquisition
• Contributing as an active member of the TA Leadership SteerCo, sharing insights and solutions to address opportunities and challenges while driving strategic initiatives forward
