Job summary

Jefferies is seeking an APAC regional tech lead (SVP) in Hong Kong to manage and develop Global Equities Data & Analytics Platform, handling real‑time and historical market data for multiple desks worldwide, including cash, derivatives, and ETFs.

You will collaborate with teams in New York, London, and Pune, drive KDB/Q and Python based analytics, and deliver scalable data solutions with robust APIs, documentation, and unit tests.

Qualifications

• 10+ years working with large financial data sets.
• 10+ years of KDB+/Q, Unix/Linux environment experience.
• Strong communication with traders and quants; global coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage APAC regional data & analytics platform and real-time/historical data.
• Oversee Global Data & Analytics platform development with traders and quants.
• Implement API functionality and library-grade software.
• Ensure coding best practices, documentation, and robust solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and production support.
• Lead APAC regional technical strategy and delivery.
• Provide support to trading desks and regional use cases.
