Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC in Hong Kong seeks an Executive Director/Vice President to lead Asia-focused systematic trading and derivatives on equity products. You will oversee development, risk, and P&L outcomes while guiding a team of quants, technologists, and traders across major Asian exchanges.

You will drive low-latency trading systems, mentor staff, and collaborate with control functions to ensure compliant, robust operations and continuing competitive edge in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in systematic trading or related quantitative roles.
• Experience on both the sell side and buy side is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Deep knowledge of Asian financial markets, listed derivatives, warrants, CBBCs, and options.

Responsibilities

• Partner with quants and technologists to develop systematic trading and derivatives strategies
• Oversee the design, development, and enhancement of proprietary trading systems for best-in-class performance
• Drive innovation in alpha generation, execution, quoting, hedging, and risk management
• Analyze market structure, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and control functions to ensure seamless trading operations and compliance
• Manage relationships with exchanges, vendors, and key stakeholders to support business growth
• Oversee pre-trade and post-trade analytics, P&L attribution, and performance monitoring
• Ensure all trading activities comply with regulatory requirements, firm-wide risk framework, and internal policies
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational rigor
• Lead and mentor team members to drive business results
• Represent the team in senior stakeholder and cross-functional meetings
