Job summary

Citi in Hong Kong seeks a senior technologist to lead the evolution of our Structured Products platform, driving re-architecture and optimization of pricing, quoting, and workflow systems. The role combines strategic guidance with hands-on delivery to build a next-generation platform.

You will architect and design scalable, low-latency systems, rebuild pricing and quoting engines, and develop electronic channels for price dissemination and client quotes.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on development experience in electronic pricing, quoting, or order management channels.
• Strong background in front-office technology, with direct experience in Cash Equities or Derivatives trading systems.
• Deep understanding of the full trade lifecycle and related tech stack.
• Experience leading high-performing technology teams.
• Strategic, commercial mindset with a drive to build exceptional systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills for complex software projects.

Responsibilities

• Architect & Design: review existing structured products quoting, pricing, and order management tech and design scalable future architecture.
• Rebuild & Optimize: lead hands-on re-engineering of core pricing and quoting engines for best-in-class standards.
• Develop Electronic Channels: drive strategy and development of electronic price dissemination and client quoting channels.
• Business Collaboration: work with trading desk, sales, and quantitative teams to translate requirements into robust tech solutions.
• Leadership in HK: provide local leadership, mentorship, and align tech delivery with business goals.
• Technology Leadership: promote agile, TDD, and CI/CD to build a culture of quality.
