Job summary

Barclays is seeking a VP - Project Manager, Planning & Execution APAC (Markets) in Hong Kong to lead cross-functional initiatives within the Investment Bank, focusing on Markets-related projects from initiation through execution to closure.

The role demands delivery excellence, front-to-back process understanding, and the ability to engage senior stakeholders while managing risks, budgets and timelines in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex change projects in an Investment Bank.
• Equities and Prime business knowledge with front-to-back processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for senior audiences.
• Self-starter able to engage stakeholders and multi-task under pressure.
• Experience defining new processes and controls.
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage change projects to deliver on time, within scope and budget.
• Develop and manage project plans with scope, timelines and resources.
• Communicate progress with senior management and external partners.
• Lead project teams ensuring proper resourcing and skills.
• Manage project budgets and report on progress.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks and dependencies.
• Facilitate change management activities including training and communication.
