Banco Santander SA in Hong Kong seeks a VP/SVP, IT Project & Application Management to lead end-to-end IT project delivery across APAC. You will coordinate with Head Office in Madrid, global tech teams and suppliers to ensure timely, compliant delivery.

You will establish governance, manage risks and reporting, drive release planning and change management, and guide teams toward on-time, high-quality implementations.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT, Computer Science, Business or related discipline.
• 10+ years of IT project/programme management or application management experience.
• Experience managing complex regional or cross-border technology projects.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of banking applications and Corporate/Investment Banking processes.
• English fluency; Spanish is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Lead and oversee end-to-end delivery of key IT projects and Change-the-Bank initiatives across APAC.
• Manage relationships with business stakeholders, Head Office/Madrid, global technology teams and suppliers.
• Establish project governance and provide regular status, risk and management reporting.
• Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and escalations to ensure timely resolution.
• Drive planning, prioritisation, resource coordination and delivery against timelines.
• Oversee release planning, UAT, go-live readiness, implementation and post-production support.
• Lead change management activities, including communication and training.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, risk and internal control requirements.
• Provide leadership to project teams and collaborate across regional and global stakeholders.
• Support management in defining APAC technology priorities and improving delivery.
