Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an Assistant / Project Manager (Financial Markets) to lead end-to-end system project delivery supporting business development and new product rollouts across Hong Kong, Southeast Asia branches, and Headquarters.

The role requires collaboration with IT and vendors, requirements analysis, feasibility studies, and strict budget/timeline control, with oversight of UAT progress and defect resolution as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in banking or financial services with PM/BA background.
• Excellent communication and liaison skills in English and Chinese (Putonghua).
• Proactive, self-motivated with strong planning, presentation, and negotiation skills; able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead end-to-end delivery of system projects for Financial Markets across HK, SEA branches, and HQ.
• Collaborate with cross-functional units to gather and document requirements; prepare proposals for executive endorsement.
• Coordinate with IT and external vendors to plan projects, manage risks, and monitor scope and resources.
• Manage full lifecycle within budgets and timelines, reporting status to management.
