Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in asset management, private markets, investor relations, institutional client servicing, investment banking, or related financial services.
• Knowledge of alternative investment products and services, corporate finance, or accounting.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce or CRM experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive problem solver with a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and demonstrates a strong work ethic.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.
• Interest in developing a long-term career in investor relations and institutional relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the APAC Relationship Management team.
• Track all meetings with investors and prospects, including maintaining Salesforce records, distributing meeting and conference notes, and managing related organizational tasks.
• Participate in client meetings and track investor feedback across Ares strategies and funds.
• Interact regularly with investment professionals and product managers to stay informed of portfolio developments, fund performance, and fundraising initiatives.
• Support senior Relationship Managers in their client coverage by responding to investor inquiries and coordinating data requests.
• Participate in internal meetings, including the Global Relationship Management Call and APAC Relationship Management team meetings.
• Maintain and update client and prospect databases, ensuring accurate coverage and pipeline tracking across Ares strategies.
• Support investor due diligence processes, including coordinating requests and preparing marketing and reporting materials.
• Conduct market and competitive research, monitoring industry trends and identifying potential client opportunities.
• Assist with client reporting, investor communications, and other client servicing activities.
• Initially focus on investor operations and client servicing responsibilities, with the opportunity to develop into a junior Relationship Manager role.
