Job summary

Citi seeks a visionary APAC Head of Equity Finance to drive strategic leadership and accelerated delivery of technolo gical solutions across Asia. You will shape Prime Finance initiatives, engage with senior stakeholders, and partner with local trading teams to meet market demands while upholding strict risk and regulatory standards.

You will lead a team of engineers, promote collaboration, and steer technology-driven growth across the region, ensuring robust delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Equity Finance or Prime Brokerage, with leadership experience.
• Deep knowledge of securities lending, repo, synthetic equity products, and prime brokerage.
• Engineering background using Java, Python, and AI tech to accelerate development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong technical understanding and ability to manage development teams.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across regions and functions.
• Awareness of regulatory, risk, and control requirements in global markets.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Business Development: Partner with local product/trading teams; articulate Asia equity/Prime strategy; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Accelerated Delivery: Lead rapid technical solutions; leverage Java, Python, and AI to boost delivery speed; align with global standards.
• Stakeholder Management & Communication: Manage senior stakeholders; represent APAC Equity Finance; report on performance and market developments.
• Team Leadership & Development: Build and mentor a high-performing local engineering team; drive succession planning and capability depth.
