Job summary

Societe Generale APAC is seeking a finance professional to join the Cross Asset Structuring team in Hong Kong. You will originate transactions, develop new products, and coordinate with Sales, Traders, and Support Functions to drive scalable business across the region.

You will draft and review complex trade documentation and ensure regulatory/commercial compliance while supporting client pitches and market opportunities.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in equity and/or fixed income product structuring.
• Ability to lead projects, coordinate with stakeholders and execute complex transactions.
• Ability to draft/review complex trade documentation (OTC, notes, etc.).
• Appetite for business development and new product development.
• Knowledge of China cross-border arrangements and/or financing trades and SPV structuring is a plus.
• Familiar with ISDA, GMRA, GMSLA concepts and documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and market data platforms such as Bloomberg.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills; capable of working autonomously.
• Team player with ability to drive cross-department initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Origination of transactions and creation of new business opportunities.
• Development of new products and customization of existing products.
• Obtain internal approvals and coordinate with Front Office and Support Functions.
• Support Sales in client pitches and monitor market opportunities.
• Ensure regulatory, tax and accounting considerations are understood for each market or client segment.
• Draft/review transaction documentation per internal standards.
• Ensure transactions comply with SG principles and obtain validations.
• Ensure proper use of scarce resources and meet profitability requirements.
• Support after-sales service and smooth operational delivery.
