Job summary

G MASS Consulting invites a Governance and Oversight Lead to strengthen post-trade operations across APAC, supervising offshore teams and driving cross-border collaboration. The role focuses on reducing risk, improving processes, and delivering data-informed oversight of cash equities settlements.

You will work on BAU tasks in asset servicing, payments, client asset segregation, and bank reconciliations with an emphasis on efficiency, automation, and client experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services, ideally sell side or custody operations.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese.
• Proactive, collaborative and adaptable under pressure.
• Programming exposure a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Produce and review daily KRIs and data-driven insights for post-trade governance.
• Act as main point of contact for regulators, auditors and service providers.
• Build supervisory framework with offshore teams to catch risks early.
• Lead BAU across asset servicing, payments, client asset segregation and bank reconciliations.
• Drive process efficiency, risk mitigation and automation initiatives.
• Handle settlement oversight across APAC markets and resolve discrepancies.
