Job summary

The Edge Partnership is seeking a Cash Equities Operations Associate to join its Operations team. The role focuses on supporting cash equities settlement activities, reconciling trades, and driving efficiency across APAC markets within an international environment.

Applicants should have 5+ years in relevant cash equities roles and be fluent in English and Cantonese, with a strong understanding of settlement processes and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Cash Equities Operations, Settlements, Securities Operations, Custody, or Trade Support.
• Strong understanding of the equities trade lifecycle and settlement processes.
• Experience in reconciliations, exception management, and operational controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Support and oversee cash equities settlement activities across APAC markets.
• Monitor and investigate settlement discrepancies, trade exceptions, and operational risks.
• Perform reconciliation, cash management, and post-trade control activities.
• Prepare operational reporting and key risk metrics.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, offshore teams, and external service providers.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Participate in business change and transformation projects.
