Job summary

UTAC in Hong Kong seeks a focused technician to support AOI and metrology in a semiconductor line. You will manage AOI tools, craft AOI recipes, and work with Process Engineering to monitor defect rates in real time. Strong problem solving and circuit diagram knowledge are essential.

The role requires a 12-hour rotating shift and at least 1 year of semiconductor experience. You will ensure SOP compliance and assist on metrology-related challenges to maintain production quality.

Qualifications

• Diploma/NITEC in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering.
• Knowledge in schematic drawing and circuit diagram analysis.
• At least 1 year working experience in semiconductor industry.
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift.
• Possess problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) tools.
• Create and optimize recipes for AOI equipment.
• Coordinate with Process Engineering for real-time defect rate feedback.
• Analyze SPC charts for bump characteristics.
• Perform MSA and support metrology tools.
• Enforce SOPs and work instructions on the production line.
• Support production line for AOI and metrology issues.
