Job summary

ams-OSRAM Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. seeks a QA/QC lead to supervise technicians in OQC operations, review data, and drive corrective actions to ensure quality before mass production.

The role involves coordinating with internal and external teams and managing shipment approvals to meet customer requirements. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 2+ years of QA/QC experience in semiconductor/manufacturing, with knowledge of SPC, GD&T, AOI/AI inspection, CAPA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or a related discipline.
• 2+ years QA/QC experience in semiconductor/manufacturing preferred.
• Experience in NPI qualification, shipment approval, CAPA and corrective-action processes.
• Experience leading or supervising QA technicians and inspectors.
• Regular interaction with customers and suppliers in Asia and Europe.
• Knowledge of quality systems, SPC, GD&T, manual inspection and cleanroom practices.
• Root-cause analysis, FACA/CAPA and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise QA technicians and inspectors in daily OQC operations.
• Review OQC data and inspection results; initiate FACA and lot disposition for non-conformance.
• Drive corrective actions and ensure quality issues are addressed and closed on time.
• Support NPI readiness and identify product, process and quality-system risks.
• Drive quality performance to the required acceptance level before mass production.
• Establish and manage shipment approval to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to achieve quality goals.
• Drive cost-saving, efficiency and continuous-improvement activities in OQC
