Job summary

Heptagon Photonics Pte Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in AOI and product integration at our Singapore operation center.

The role focuses on developing, optimizing, and sustaining AOI recipes, defect detection, and inspection performance while coordinating with production, quality, equipment, and R&D teams. You will lead the analysis of process flows, conduct initial issue assessments, and drive corrective actions to improve yield and quality across high‑volume

Qualifications

Hands-on AOI and machine vision experience required.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and sustain AOI processes and inspection recipes for products.
Improve AOI detection, accuracy, throughput, and defect classification.
Establish AOI golden samples, defect libraries, and change controls.
Conduct recipe qualification, capability studies, and validation for new products.
Troubleshoot AOI equipment, software, and image quality issues.
Analyze AOI and defect data to identify trends and reduce defects.
Understand overall manufacturing flow and critical-to-quality characteristics.
Lead initial product issue analysis and coordinate corrective actions.
Coordinate cross-functional teams for root-cause analysis and containment.
