Job summary

ConnectedGroup Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced AliCloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain Alibaba Cloud infrastructure and services, focusing on scalable, secure, and cost-efficient platforms.

You will work with architecture, engineering, operations, and application teams on migrations, modernization, and production rollouts, with strong Linux administration, scripting, and a track record in Apsara Stack environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, systems engineering, or cloud operations.
• Hands-on experience with Alibaba Cloud (AliCloud) services and cloud platform administration.
• Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with cloud networking, security, storage, and virtualization technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Shell, PowerShell, or equivalent tools.
• Experience supporting production environments and large-scale infrastructure deployments.
• Excellent English and Mandarin and / or Cantonese communication skills are a must.

• Implement automation and operational tooling to improve platform stability and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-enabled business solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and architecture diagrams.
• Ensure cloud environments comply with security, governance, and operational standards.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced AliCloud Engineer with strong expertise in Alibaba Cloud technologies. Candidates with hands‑on experience delivering, implementing, or supporting Alibaba Cloud Apsara Stack environments will be highly preferred, as this role will play a key part in supporting enterprise‑scale cloud infrastructure initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with architecture, engineering, operations, and application teams to deliver cloud infrastructure solutions and support strategic technology initiatives.

Strongly Preferred

• Proven experience in Alibaba Cloud Apsara Stack delivery, implementation, migration, or operations support.
• Experience working on private cloud or hybrid cloud environments built on Alibaba Cloud Apsara Stack.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Apsara Stack architecture, deployment methodologies, lifecycle management, upgrades, and platform troubleshooting.
• Experience collaborating with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams to deliver Apsara Stack‑based solutions.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
