Job summary

China Airlines in Hong Kong is seeking a capable Airport Cargo Officer to support airfreight operations at Chek Lap Kok. You will handle airway bills, export/import declarations, manifests, and load distribution, with data entry and coordination with forwarders.

Requirements include HK resident status, HKCEE/HKDSE with passing grades, fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, basic computer skills, and a driving license is an advantage.

Qualifications

• The Hong Kong permanent resident status is required.
• HKDSE with five subjects including Chinese, English and related majors at level 2 or HKCEE with passes including Chinese and English (syllabus B) at level 2 (Grade E or above).
• Good command of spoken and written Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Possession of a valid Hong Kong driving license will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• (Airport Office) Deals with matters connected with airfreight, such as airway bills or consignment notes, import / export declaration, manifests and distribution of load on the plane. Computer data entry...etc.
• Assists the forwarder agents and clients in the handling of delivery matters, arranging follow-up procedures and enquiries.
• Performing driving duty on the apron.
