Job summary

HKT is seeking a senior automation leader to manage and drive a team focused on automating business processes using IA, RPA, chat bots, and voice bots. You will identify opportunities, govern the automation lifecycle, and deliver scalable solutions across business units.

You will collaborate with IT and business leaders, prioritize the automation backlog, and ensure benefits are realized by implementing Lean-driven improvements and governance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT or computer related studies with relevant experience and proven track record in driving automation.
• Strong Robotic Process Automation management experience and knowledge with UiPath, Laiya, Cyclone, Blue Prism as an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence at senior leadership level.
• Experience applying Lean principles and business acumen to automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Complete automation assessments across functions to identify processes for automation and lead in the automation development life cycle.
• Work with functional leadership and IT partners to deliver a scalable RPA platform fit for purpose.
• Maintain operational accountability for automated processes within agreed timescales.
• Prioritize the process pipeline for cost-effective automation aligned to business needs.
• Lead process re-engineering to enable automation and develop business cases with defined benefits.

Job description

Manage and drive a team to develop automation processes and progressing new automation opportunities. Lead with identifying and automating the organizations processes using Intelligent Automation (IA) including, technologies such RPA, Cognitive, Chat Bots and Voice Bots.

Your Role:

• Complete automation assessments across all functions to identify processes suitable for automation and lead on taking suitable processes through the automation development life cycle
• Work with various parties including functional leadership across business units and internal partners within IT teams to drive and lead a team to deliver a stable and scalable RPA platform that is fit for purpose
• Operational accountability for the delivery of automated processes according to agreed timescales
• Prioritizing process pipeline to deliver automation in a cost effective manner and against business requirements
• Lead on process re-engineering to enable automation
• Support with the development of additional automation business cases and ensure benefits are defined and realized in line with defined automation business cases
• Ensure all automation development adheres to the approved governance model
• Continuously improve the automation development life cycle and governance model
• Embrace latest technology to drive new automation process that benefit to the organization

To succeed in this role:

• Bachelor degree in IT or computer related studies with relevant experience and proven track record in driving automation process in a sizable organization
• Strong Robotic Process Automation management experience and knowledge, with knowledge and exposure to UiPath, Laiya, Cyclone, Blue Prism is an advantage
• Strong stakeholder management and able to influence at executive or senior leadership level
• Strong process improvement background and good project management skills
• Able to develop innovate automation ideas and turn them into viable solutions
• Able to implement solutions and quickly overcome barriers to deliver tangible benefits
• Experience with applying Lean principles
• Strong business and financial acumen
