Assistant Buying Officer (Wet Market Express) in Hong Kong supports the buying team by using AI tools to streamline daily workflows, preparing purchase orders and tracking order progress and delivery logistics. You will maintain supplier relationships, negotiate terms and promotional offers, and manage SKU metadata and filing systems.

Engaging in regular market research with AI-assisted price monitoring and trend analysis, you will be part of a proactive team.

Qualifications

• Strong communication in English and Chinese is preferred.
• Analytical and organizational abilities are valued.
• Willingness to learn negotiation and presentation skills.
• Fresh graduates welcome; degree preferred in related disciplines.

Responsabilités

• Provide administrative support to the buying team, using AI tools to streamline daily workflows.
• Prepare purchase orders (POs) and other related documents.
• Monitor purchase order progress and delivery logistics using AI to track status.
• Maintain supplier relationships, including negotiating partnership terms, promotional offers, and operational support.
• Maintain department database records, SKU metadata, and the filing system.
• Assist with regular market research and utilize AI routines for competitor price monitoring and trend analysis.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
