Job summary

Pattern accelerates brands on global ecommerce marketplaces using AI-driven automations. This AI Automations Engineer role in Hong Kong hybrid focuses on identifying repetitive processes and delivering AI-powered workflows with n8n, MCP, and Zapier to save time and cut costs.

You will own design, build, operation, adoption, and ROI for these workflows, collaborating with various business units and engineering for scale and security.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in process re‑engineering, data analytics, software engineering or enterprise automation.
• Hands‑on with low/no‑code tools or GenAI is required.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
• Experience with building, testing, and maintaining automations using AI/automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate AI workflows using n8n, MCP, and Zapier; design prompts and guards.
• Run discovery with business units to size impact and prioritize backlog.
• Ship small increments with pilot, measure, iterate, scale; track ROI.
• Train junior team members and enable business units with runbooks and SOPs.
• Engage engineering for platform needs and monitor production automation health.
