Job summary

MoneyHero Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer to own production features across backend services and frontend applications for our financial products. You will join the engineering team, reporting to the Group Head of Engineering and AI, and contribute to architecture and engineering standards.

You will work across user-facing AI ideas, insurance journeys, loyalty programs, and a robust tech stack including Node.js, C#, Java, React, AWS, Docker, and CloudWatch.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in fintech or regulated environments.
• Strong hands-on with React and at least one backend language (Node.js/Java/C#).
• Experience with AWS, containers, CI/CD, security, and measurable delivery of features.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder ownership: serve as the technical lead for product, design, and business partners.
• AI-first delivery: specify, direct AI tools, verify against tests and specs.
• Delivery foundations: define rules, tests, and tooling to support reliable AI-driven delivery.
• End-to-End development: design, build, and ship production features across frontend and backend.
• Architecture & design: contribute to microservice boundaries, APIs, and data models.
• Quality, security & review: ensure code quality, security testing, and compliant practices.
• Operations & incident response: maintain CI/CD, monitor services, and manage incidents.
• Mentorship & knowledge sharing: guide engineers and improve practices.
