Job summary

OKX is seeking a Senior Director of AI in Hong Kong to lead both people and product, building a high-calibre AI team while shaping autonomous agent systems from design to production deployment.

You will drive end-to-end delivery of AI Agent products, establish evaluation benchmarks, and integrate AI into core engineering workflows, partnering with product and business teams to align strategy with execution.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field (PhD preferred).
• 10+ years in AI/ML research, productization, or platform development including leadership roles at tech firms.
• Deep expertise in LLMs and Generative AI, deep learning, RL, recommender systems.
• Proven track record translating AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes.
• End-to-end delivery experience with autonomous AI Agent products.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI into engineering workflows (AI coding assistants, automated code review, etc.).
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English for cross-regional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and develop a team of AI engineers and researchers; own hiring, growth, and performance.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of autonomous AI Agent products from requirements to production operations.
• Establish benchmark-driven evaluation frameworks replacing manual iteration with quality signals.
• Design and implement Agent Harness infrastructure for stability and reliability.
• Orchestrate creative reasoning steps with guardrails to balance flexibility and control.
• Embed AI Agent capabilities into core products and pipelines to boost developer productivity and business value.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to keep technical direction aligned with priorities.
