Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited is seeking a principal technical architect in Hong Kong to drive executive-level AI tooling and autonomous data pipelines directly within the Group CEO’s office. You will architect production-grade AI systems, build low-latency interfaces for top executives, and ensure security and governance across global operations.

The role requires 6+ years delivering enterprise AI, strong Python and backend skills, and hands-on MLOps/LLMOps experience with cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of software/DevOps/data engineer experience with production-grade apps.
• Hands-on AI/LLM expertise, deploying generative models into enterprise systems.
• Experience with agentic frameworks, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and API tool orchestration.
• Advanced backend development for APIs and data pipelines handling diverse data sources.
• Proficiency in Python for backend development and automation.
• Cloud infrastructure experience with AWS/Azure/GCP in production environments.
• Strong CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, automated tests, and MLOps/LLMOps basics.
• Security and architecture discipline when handling confidential data.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math/Data Science or equivalent.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with MLflow, Kubeflow, model registries, automated evaluation frameworks.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience building tools for executives or regulated sectors is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement autonomous agents and automated pipelines to extract, structure, and synthesize data from internal networks, databases, and external feeds.
• Create low-latency executive interfaces, reporting tools, and clean UI for C-suite interaction.
• Build backend services, data infrastructure, and platform components for AI workloads at scale.
• Incorporate forecasting methods and lightweight ML models to sharpen decision accuracy.
• Apply modern software practices: version control, testing, CI/CD, provisioning, and secrets management.
• Establish and manage MLOps/LLMOps deployment pipelines for packaging, tracking, monitoring, and rollbacks.
• Translate executive requests into rapid proofs-of-concept and mature into enterprise services.
• Navigate governance channels to transition ERP ownership while maintaining exec tooling control.
• Partner with Cybersecurity and Infrastructure teams for runbooks and incident response.
• Enforce data protection, access controls, and environment isolation.
• continually refine system architecture for performance, uptime, and cost-efficiency.
