Job summary

Payoneer is seeking a Platform Enablement & Automation Engineer in Hong Kong. You will own end-to-end platform delivery across the full stack—UI, backend, data, and deployment—while working with business teams to translate requirements into production-ready software.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years hands-on software engineering experience.
• Full stack capability across UI, backend, data and deployment.
• Experience with version control and release management (Git or Azure DevOps).
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into a clear technical approach.
• Proven ability to build efficiently with AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the internal platform across the full stack (React/TS frontend, Node.js backend, data layers).
• Capture business requirements directly from stakeholders and deliver automated solutions.
• Provide technical depth and redundancy across the platform to reduce single points of failure.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical approaches and implementations.
• Leverage AI-assisted development to prototype and iterate quickly into production-ready software.
• Extend platform capabilities with AI-native workflows and self-service features.
• Manage version control, branching, and release processes across environments and deployments.
• Contribute to the platform's external-facing layer for strategic partners.
• Maintain code quality and documentation to ensure long-term maintainability.
