Job summary

TEKsystems in Hong Kong is seeking an AI Engineer to join a growing team delivering enterprise AI solutions across regions. You will help scale an existing AI platform, adapt it for different user groups, and collaborate with business units to drive impact.

You will own backend services and AI workflows, design agent orchestration with Python/FastAPI, integrate data sources, and ensure performance, reliability, and observability in production environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in AI, ML, or backend engineering.
• Production-grade app experience.
• Strong Python with FastAPI and async programming.
• Experience with LangGraph/LangChain.
• SQL skills with PostgreSQL or Databricks.
• API design and integration.
• CI/CD, Docker, and deployment know-how.
• Testing: unit, integration, API, performance.
• Observability using Langfuse or Grafana.
• English and Chinese communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into AI-driven solutions.
• Design and enhance AI agent workflows.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Python.
• Integrate AI agents with data sources and external systems.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize AI applications in production.
• Implement testing strategies and performance improvements.
• Ensure scalability and low-latency through optimization.
• Coordinate with frontend for API design and integration.
