Job summary

South China Morning Post SCMP in Hong Kong is seeking an AI Engineer (Internal Automation) to drive an AI-first transformation of internal operations. You will apply Generative AI, LLMs, and intelligent workflows to streamline processes across business units.

Based in Causeway Bay, you will own the full technical lifecycle from requirements through prototyping and enablement, partnering with stakeholders, building PoCs with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and other tools, and leading change management to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a highly quantitative discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years building production-grade Generative AI apps (RAG/Agents).
• Hands-on with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) and prompt engineering.
• Fluent English and Chinese; Putonghua preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and translate into precise AI specifications.
• Prototype and validate PoCs using LLMs and multi-agent orchestration.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise databases and APIs.
• Lead internal user enablement and change management.
• Summarize AI research insights for internal teams.
