Job summary

Deel is seeking an Analyst, ORAIE to join the Operational Risk Management team. The role focuses on hands-on risk workstreams, building AI-enabled automation, and delivering end-to-end risk outcomes that withstand enterprise scrutiny.

You will own risk assessments, create actionable artifacts, and embed risk considerations into product and engineering changes, driving cross-functional risk sessions and leadership-ready reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in operational risk or related functions.
• Hands-on with risk programs: RCSAs, KRIs, incident management, third-party risk, resilience, or change risk.
• Detail-oriented with structured risk data and trend analysis.
• Daily use of AI tools (Claude, Cursor, etc.) with fluency.
• Proficient in low-code tooling; scripting in Python and SQL basics.
• Clear written and verbal communication for reports and stakeholders.
• Certs like ORM, CRISC, FRM are desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Operational Risk Management workstreams such as Operational Resilience and Third-Party.
• Turn policies and guidance into usable operating tools.
• Drive risk assessments, controls, and evidence collection.
• Lead cross-functional risk sessions and land action items with owners.
• Build data, KRIs, and dashboards; create automation where missing.
• Ensure risks and issues are documented and closed.
• Produce leadership-ready risk analyses and reporting.
• Own accuracy and timing of reporting; fix root causes.
• Embed risk into product/engineering changes from start.
• Research emerging risks and integrate into workstreams.
• Promote disciplined updates, tooling reuse, and documentation.
