Job summary

Sun Life in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to analyze and optimize business processes, define requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver AI-enabled solutions aligned with organizational goals.

The role focuses on identifying AI opportunities, documenting requirements, and enhancing operational efficiency through robust governance and change management. Strong communication with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering.
5+ years in life insurance with a focus on business analysis or related roles.
Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
Experience with AI delivery, PoC, pilot or production implementation preferred.
Experience with a consulting firm is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead discussions to articulate business requirements and identify high-value AI opportunities across processes.
Assess business pain points, expected benefits, feasibility, risks and adoption readiness.
Create detailed functional specs, user stories and use cases for systems and processes.
Contribute to BA practices, templates and reusable methods for AI and digital delivery.
Manage change requests while adhering to governance standards and ensuring quality deliverables.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, IT teams, external vendors and partners to implement system enhancements.
Conduct end-user training and provide ongoing support for new systems and processes.
Assist in preparing engagement activities to promote AI within the department and enterprise context.
