Job summary

Hong Kong Executive Search represents a property investment division of a listed company in HK seeking an Accounting Manager. The role will manage the full set of accounts for hotel operations and report to the Senior Manager in Hong Kong.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Accounting/Finance with professional qualifications, at least 5 years in a managerial role (Big 4 or property management background preferred), and strong English and Chinese communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent with recognized accounting qualifications.
• 5 years of managerial experience; Big 4 or property management background is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of HK taxation, accounting rules and regulations.
• Analytical mind with Chinese report writing and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in English and Chinese, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the full set of accounts.
• Monitor finance and accounting issues for hotel business.
• Review and record daily income reports.
• Prepare monthly billing, fixed asset management, financial and management reports on a timely basis.
• Prepare cash flow, budget, forecast and analysis.
• Ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

• Prepare monthly billing, fix asset management, financial and management reports on a timely basis.
• Prepare cash flow, budget, forecast and analysis as required.
• Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Accounting/Finance or equivalent with recognized accounting professional qualification.
• 5 years relevant experience in a managerial position with prior experience in Big 4 or in property management industry definitely an advantage.
• Good knowledge of HK taxation, accounting rules and regulations.
• Analytical mind with good Chinese report writing skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills, able to meet tight deadline and work independently.
• Computer literate with good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
