Job summary

HKT is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join our Group Finance team in Hong Kong. The role covers month-end closings, management reports, forecasting, annual operating plans, and cooperation with external auditors.

You will support Capex reviews and various financial projects, work with multiple departments, and ensure timely tax filings. Fluency in English and Chinese, plus Oracle knowledge, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline with professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Strong communication and ability to work with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting support to business units on month-end closing, reports, forecasting and planning.
• Assist with annual operating plan, audits and tax return filings.

Job description

The successful candidate will work in our accounting team in Group Finance. S/he will be responsible for:

Provide accounting support to business units on month-end closing, management reports preparation and analysis, forecasting, annual operating plan as well as audit and tax return filing

Support Capex and investment cases review and ad hoc financial projects

Work with colleagues from different departments and liaise with external auditors

To succeed in this role:

Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or other related discipline with qualification in professional accounting body

At least 5 years' relevant working experience

Good organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

Independence and ability to work under pressure and tight deadline

Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

Full familiarity with Microsoft Office applications is necessary

Prior experience in Oracle accounting system will be an advantage
