Job summary

A telecommunications company in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced finance professional to join their Financial Risk Management Team. Job description

Department: Finance Division - Financial Risk Management Team

In this position, you will:

• Prepare accounting entries for revenue and cost, perform month-end closing, and prepare reports
• Prepare balance sheet and P&L schedules, perform reconciliations, and follow up on any unusual items
• Assist in preparing monthly P&L forecasts for corporate business
• Provide financial support for business operations, such as reviewing cost models and contracts
• Assist in the financial management of corporate projects
• Contribute to improving accounting processes and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency
• Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as required

To be successful in this position, you should meet the following requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or related business disciplines
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant working experience; good knowledge of international accounting standards and practices preferred
• Experience in the telecom industry and revenue accounting will be an advantage
• Proactive, independent, persistent, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word; knowledge of Macros preferred
• Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
