Job summary

HKT is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to manage daily AP tasks, process invoices, prepare remittances, and post entries to the general ledger, supporting financial operations with attention to detail.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Accounting with 2–3 years of telecom/finance experience, fluent English and Chinese, and hands-on Oracle/Office skills. Based in Hong Kong with standard office hours.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Accounting is required.
• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience in telecommunications or Finance.
• Self-motivated with a drive to deliver results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Oracle and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access).

• Responsible for daily accounting duties for Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, cheque or remittance preparation and general ledger posting
• Prepare daily and monthly bank reconciliations, account schedules and management reports
• Support day-to-day administrative tasks
• Assist in ad hoc assignments

To succeed in this role:

• Diploma or certificate in Accounting in a related discipline
• Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience in the telecommunications or Finance industry
• Self-motivated and strong passion to deliver results
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
