Job summary

Tag is seeking an experienced Sourcing Account Manager in Hong Kong to liaise between clients and our agency, driving sourcing, procurement and marketing initiatives on site. You will develop and execute strategies, manage day-to-day account operations, and build strong relationships with client teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in account management, print management, or procurement within FMCG, retail, design or advertising.
  • Experience in POSM, events, print procurement, or print management is advantageous.
  • Strong client-facing and customer service skills with ability to identify growth opportunities.
  • Commercially minded with numerical, analytical and organizational strengths, keen attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in budget management and price negotiation to hit targets.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Strong project management with focus on timely delivery and KPIs.
  • Positive, proactive team player with ability to learn quickly and collaborate.
  • Resilient and resourceful under pressure; proficient in English and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

  • Lead print procurement activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to spec.
  • Manage production and procurement of client marketing collateral across brands and campaigns.
  • Oversee and support the Account Management team to ensure successful delivery of projects and events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with client brand teams, stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Utilize Tag's systems and reporting tools to manage delivery, performance and reporting.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, address issues and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Track KPIs and service levels, identify risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare performance updates and reports for the Account Director.
  • Coordinate training and day-to-day activities with the Account Director.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and opportunities to add value for clients.

The Sourcing Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between clients and the agency, ensuring client objectives are accurately represented while effectively showcasing the agency's capabilities and value proposition. This is an onsite role, requiring regular collaboration with client stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to support the successful delivery of sourcing, procurement, and marketing initiatives. The role is responsible for developing and executing tactical strategies that align with client goals and business priorities.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and client teams, the Sourcing Account Manager will contribute to the development of campaign plans, sourcing strategies, and tactical initiatives that drive successful outcomes. Key responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of assigned accounts, building strong client relationships, providing strategic insights and recommendations, and maintaining a deep understanding of the client's business, industry, and talent acquisition objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead print procurement activities, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within specification, and in line with quality and contractual requirements.
  • Manage the production and procurement of client marketing collateral across multiple brands and campaigns.
  • Oversee and support the Account Management team to ensure successful delivery of projects, events, and campaign components.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client brand teams, stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Utilize Tag's systems and reporting tools to manage project delivery, performance tracking, and operational reporting.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, proactively addressing issues and identifying opportunities for service improvement.
  • Track KPIs and service levels against agreed targets, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Prepare performance updates and reports for the Account Director.
  • Partner with the Account Director to coordinate team training, development, and day-to-day operational activities.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and technological advancements, identifying opportunities to deliver added value to clients.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and potential conflicts, escalating to the Account Director when appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in account management, print management, or procurement within the FMCG, retail, design, or advertising industries.
  • Experience in POSM, events, print procurement, or print management is advantageous.
  • Strong client-facing and customer service skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships and identify business growth opportunities.
  • Commercially minded with strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in budget management, price negotiation, and achieving commercial and operational targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, supported by excellent time management and adaptability.
