Job Overview

The role for Tag provides in-depth accounting and financial analysis for designated business areas, accounts, and sites. This role supports the senior business team by coordinating with Tag’s financial group to align with each account's specific needs. You will collaborate with finance and other functions across Hong Kong & Taiwan markets, and the broader APAC region. Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency are essential for effective data analysis and delivering valuable financial insights.

Job Duties

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Revenue recognition, direct costs, and expense controls to support business partners and ensure compliance.
• Conduct monthly/quarterly financial reviews, including allocation charge verification and fraud/over-expenditure prevention.
• Report accurate financial results by site; verify operational usage against P&L; oversee AR/AP invoice preparation.

Financial Operations Control & Compliance

• Manage month-end close, general ledger, P&L and B/S reconciliations.
• Support compliance with all tax and statutory deadlines; support clean audit outcomes.
• Maintain trackers (Nexus, Payment, Billing, Credit Notes, Timesheet, Cost Allocation, etc.) with timely updates.
• Prepare operational data (all income, expenses, assets, and liabilities) for accurate reporting and forecasts.
• Submit actual and forecast files on time with clear variance drivers.
• Make Journal Entries with full documentation.

Cash & Working Capital

• Own daily cash flow statement and payment proposals; drive forecast accuracy.
• Process payments and netting on time, following discount schedules to avoid interest loss.
• Resolve AR disputes; reduce customer invoice overdue.

Cost Control & Profitability

• Analyze people costs and control operating expenses.
• Prevent overdue supplier payments, duplicates, or incorrect accruals.

Process Improvement & Tools

• Build Excel tools to automate reconciliations and reporting.

Audit & Ad-Hoc Projects

• Support internal/external audits with organized documentation.
• Complete various ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned.
