Bank of China International (BOCI) is launching the 2027 Management Trainee Programme focused on Information Technology. Based in Hong Kong, graduates will join a 12-month programme blending classroom learning, on-the-job trainings, and cross-team rotations in IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT/CS/Engineering/Cybersecurity/Data Science/Software Development/IS or related disciplines, or above.
• Fresh graduates who graduate between 1 Jan 2026 and 31 Jul 2027 and have no full-time work experience.
• Educational background from a renowned local or overseas institution is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Join a 12-month MT Programme designed to develop future leaders through classroom learning, on-the-job trainings, and cross-team rotations.
• Rotate across Information Technology functions: cyber security, data analysis, business analysis, project and change management, and infrastructure and operations.
• Receive mentoring, buddy support, and performance coaching to accelerate growth within the programme.

Management Trainee (MT) Programme has been dedicated to globally recruit high-potential university graduates with strong aspirations to embark on a career in investment banking.

Our 12-month MT Programme is designed to cultivate future leaders by combining classroom learning, on-the-job trainings, and cross-team rotations. You will gain exposure to diverse business lines, participate in cross-department projects, and build a strong professional network. Throughout the programme, you will receive continuous mentoring, buddy support, and performance coaching to develop essential skills and accelerate your growth.

The job rotation scheme is designed to provide you with broad exposure to various functions across Information Technology department. Over the course of the programme, you will undertake rotations in cyber security, data analysis, business analysis, project and change management, infrastructure and operation and other business lines, allowing you to gain a comprehensive understanding of our business and culture.

An experienced business executive will guide you throughout the programme, offering career advice and helping you build confidence and strategic insight. During rotations, leaders will provide technical training and constructive feedback to support your development.

Requirements

• Full-time Bachelor's degree or full-time Master's degree in Information and Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Software Development, Information Systems or related disciplines or above academic qualification;
• Fresh graduates who graduate (or will graduate) between 1 January 2026 to 31 July 2027 and without full-time work experience after graduation of latest education;
• Educational background from a renowned local or overseas institution is considered an advantage;
• Good team player with excellent learning ability and high sense of responsibility;
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese proficiency.
