Job summary

Bank of China International (BOCI) invites graduates to join its Management Trainee (MT) Programme in Hong Kong. The 12-month programme blends classroom learning, on-the-job trainings, and cross-department rotations to cultivate future leaders.

You will experience rotations in investment banking, wealth management, and other lines, with mentoring, buddy support, and performance coaching to accelerate growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Full-time Bachelor's degree or full-time Master's degree or above academic qualification.
• Fresh graduates who graduate between 1 January 2026 to 31 July 2027 and without full-time work experience after graduation of latest education.
• Educational background from a renowned local or overseas institution is considered an advantage.
• Good team player with excellent learning ability and high sense of responsibility.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Undertake rotations across investment banking, wealth management, sales trading and research, and other departments to gain broad exposure.
• Receive mentoring and career guidance from experienced executives and leaders.
• Participate in cross-department projects and build a professional network during the 12-month MT programme.

Management Trainee (MT) Programme has been dedicated to globally recruit high-potential university graduates with strong aspirations to embark on a career in investment banking.

Our 12-month MT Programme is designed to cultivate future leaders by combining classroom learning, on-the-job trainings, and cross-departmental rotations. You will gain exposure to diverse business lines, participate in cross-department projects, and build a strong professional network. Throughout the programme, you will receive continuous mentoring, buddy support, and performance coaching to develop essential skills and accelerate your growth.

Job Rotation

The job rotation scheme is designed to provide you with broad exposure to various functions and departments across the company. Over the course of the programme, you will undertake rotations in different business lines, such as investment banking, wealth management, sales trading and research, as well as finance and audit, risk and compliance, etc., allowing you to gain a comprehensive understanding of our business and culture.

An experienced business executive will guide you throughout the programme, offering career advice and helping you build confidence and strategic insight. During rotations, leaders will provide technical training and constructive feedback to support your development.
