Job summary
A staffing agency is seeking candidates for weekend care work in Worksop. Responsibilities include supporting elderly service users and assisting with daily living activities. Candidates should have at least 3 months of experience in health and social care, with various training requirements. Competitive pay rates are offered, with shifts available on Saturdays or Sundays.
Qualifications
- Safeguarding training within 1 year.
- Infection Control training within 1 year.
- Moving and Handling training within 1 year.
- DBS check for adults dated within the last 12 months.
- Minimum of 3 months experience in a Health and Social Care environment.
Responsibilities
- Support elderly service users with physical and mental illnesses.
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
- Care for people with dementia, being aware of their needs.

- Support elderly service users who have a range of physical and mental illnesses/disabilities, working alongside established teams to provide excellent care.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, moving/handling and supporting nutritional and hygiene needs.
- Be proactive in caring for people with dementia and be aware of their needs.
- Safeguarding training within 1 year
- Infection Control training within 1 year
- Moving and Handling training within 1 year
- DBS check for adults dated within the last 12 months, preferably on the update service
- Minimum of 3 months experience in a Health and Social Care environment

- Role for ongoing hours
- Working on Saturdays or Sundays with typical hours being:
- 07:00 to 14:15
- 14:00 to 22:00
- 22:00 to 07:00
£12.75 per hour (Days)
£13.25 per hour (Nights)
