A healthcare organization is looking for a part-time Urgent Care Assistant to support patient care by transporting clinicians and assisting in delivering care at patients' homes. Candidates should possess great interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service. Full training will be provided. This role involves flexible hours and shift work including weekends.
Are you a self motivated individual with great interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellent customer service? Dorset Healthcare are looking for enthusiastic individuals to work as Urgent Care Assistants for the Dorset Integrated Urgent Care Service. You will be joining a dedicated team that supports patient care within the Integrated Urgent Care Service, safely transporting clinicians to Dorset community based patients and support in the delivery of care in the patient's homes where appropriate and training has been undertaken. We can offer part time hours from our base locations of St Leonards, and Dorchester Hospital. Full training and development will be offered to successful candidates. This role is a permanent part-time position, a minimum of 15 hours per week. Supporting a 24/7 service, which includes public holidays, evenings, night shifts and weekends. Rotas can be discussed at interview. As this role involves shifts during the Out of Hours period, this role attracts an enhanced shift allowance; please see Section 2 Agenda for Change Framework for further information. Applications from candidates that require current Skilled worker sponsorship to work in the UK are unfortunately ineligible to apply for this position.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
