Job Description:

Alchemy Technology are seeking a Test Manager with manual and automation testing expertise and SaaS delivery experience. This leadership role focus on robust test planning and execution, plus effective team management that will drive quality across major insurance technology projects.

You will be playing a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability, and a blend of manual and automation testing, and as a Test Manager, you will provide hands-on assistance, utilising testing tools and overseeing testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead test automation strategy and execution across multiple digital projects.
• Design and enhance test automation frameworks in Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment of testing with delivery goals.
• Manage and mentor QA team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee defect management, test reporting, and stakeholder updates.
• Leverage Agile/DevOps practices to enable continuous testing and integration.

Skills & Requirements:

• Extensive experience of system testing and test strategies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java-based automation frameworks
• Experience in the insurance domain is strongly preferred.
• Extensive experience in preparing test scenarios, managing test scripts, and ensuring end-to-end test coverage.
• Led test teams through delivery phases for digital software transformations/implementations.
• Experience with SaaS and cloud platforms.
• Guidewire knowledge is a huge advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
