Are you a versatile and dedicated teacher seeking flexible supply opportunities?

GSL Education are looking for Supply Flexible Teachers to support mainstream secondary schools in Waterlooville from September 2025. This role offers the chance to gain diverse teaching experience while working across multiple schools in the local area. The salary for this position ranges from £94 to £140 per day, dependent on your experience.

As a Supply Flexible Teacher, you will deliver lessons across different subjects and year groups, following lesson plans provided by the schools. You will maintain classroom discipline and ensure continuity of learning during staff absences, adapting quickly to new environments and student needs.

Key Responsibilities of a Supply Flexible Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons as outlined in school plans
• Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning atmosphere
• Support students’ educational and pastoral needs throughout the day
• Communicate clearly with permanent staff to ensure smooth handovers
• Complete all necessary administrative tasks such as attendance and behaviour records
• Adapt teaching methods to suit varying student abilities and classroom dynamics
• Maintain classroom resources and learning environments
• Uphold safeguarding procedures to ensure student safety

Flexible Supply Teacher Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in secondary school settings
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across different schools and subjects
• Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
