You’ll play a vital role in supporting operational excellence with regulatory standards whilst keeping client relationships front and centre. You will be working closely with the Payroll Manager and wider team to deliver accurate and efficient payroll services for our varied client base. Your role will include:
- Manage day-to-day operations to ensure team effectiveness and timely completion of all client payrolls.
- Deliver and process complex client payroll, dedicating approximately 50% of time to direct client delivery.
- Assist the Payroll Manager with client onboarding, ensuring smooth transition and set up.
- Identify opportunities to expand service offerings to existing clients.
- Support the operations team with queries, offering guidance and solutions as well as providing cover during holidays and sickness.
- Proactively manage workload, prioritising tasks effectively.
- Undertake continuous training and self-development through programmes, technical research and industry updates.
- Demonstrate professionalism in the office, client premises as well as in all communication.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects led by the Payroll Manager.
- Build and develop trust with clients, maintaining confidentiality fostering long-term professional relationships.
